Earth Song is a lyrical tribute to our beautiful planet, a rhapsody of vibrant colors, natural yarns, hand-woven fabrics, hand-stitched ‘Shibori', stitch-tie-dye techniques, childlike hand-drawn motifs inspired by the forest wonderland. Repurposing, Recycling and Reusing fabric scrap, embroidery and patches form a big part of this collection, in an effort to reinvent embroideries such as ‘Sujani', 'Sheesho Bharat', ‘Rabari’ and ‘Kawandi’ quilting in mashroo silk, repurposed denim, handloom checks, Chanderi and natural linen. Silhouettes are simple fun, dresses, wrap skirts, tie blouses, harem pants, all thrown together with a sense of abandon.
